The main objective of the comprehensive project A TU VERA is to hire 15 unemployed people through a work-study training contract, who will acquire skills in various areas related to sustainability, interpretation, environmental education, and the management of urban green environments. This project seeks to provide knowledge and skills that help preserve and restore the environment and biodiversity, favoring the participation of people belonging to priority social groups.
On the other hand, the need for these emerging profiles of professionals specialized in expanding sectors will promote green employability for long-term sustainable economic development.
Finally, the improvement of the quality and interconnection of the different green spaces of the municipality with the urban center will contribute to the promotion of rural tourism, thanks to the use of natural resources and will promote healthy lifestyle habits to the population in general.
With the acquisition of this knowledge in the forestry and environmental field, professionalisation, dissemination and awareness of the population, the agricultural sector and business will be improved, key factors in the promotion of the ecological transition through employment and green entrepreneurship.
