The A TU VERA project for training in alternation with employment is made up of an extensive training itinerary, with a Level 3 Certificate of Professionalism, (SEAG0109) Interpretation and Environmental Education, in addition to 12 other training programs in the professional areas of Environmental Management, Forestry, Agriculture, Gardening, Renewable Energies, Water, Administration and Auditing, with a total of 1,304 teaching hours. During the training, innovative methodologies and experimental learning techniques based on the use of new technologies will be applied, creativity and teamwork will be encouraged.
With this training and hiring project, the student-worker will carry out theoretical training in parallel with effective work in green areas of Los Palacios and Villafranca such as the Caño de la Vera ecological trail, which connects the Cerro de las Cigüeñas Wetland with the Marshes Park, and the El Pantano Wetland, to put into practice the knowledge acquired. They will also carry out environmental education programs and activities in coordination with the local educational centers.

2026 Related callThe main objective of the comprehensive project A TU VERA is to hire 15 unemployed people through a work-study training contract, who will acquire skills in various areas related to sustainability, interpretation, environmental education, and the management of urban green environments. This project seeks to provide knowledge and skills that help preserve and restore the environment and biodiversity, favoring the participation of people belonging to priority social groups.
On the other hand, the need for these emerging profiles of professionals specialized in expanding sectors will promote green employability for long-term sustainable economic development.
Finally, the improvement of the quality and interconnection of the different green spaces of the municipality with the urban center will contribute to the promotion of rural tourism, thanks to the use of natural resources and will promote healthy lifestyle habits to the population in general.
With the acquisition of this knowledge in the forestry and environmental field, professionalisation, dissemination and awareness of the population, the agricultural sector and business will be improved, key factors in the promotion of the ecological transition through employment and green entrepreneurship.
