DESCRIPTION:The Spanish CLIVAR Committee and the Spanish Office for Climate Change\, with the collaboration of the Biodiversity Foundation\, are organising the presentation of the CLIVAR-Spain Report. \nThe conference will address the work carried out and the results obtained in climate research in Spain\, which reflect the progress of climate change. In addition\, it will be an opportunity to talk about its main results.  \nThe Secretary of State for the Environment\, Hugo Morán\, the president of the State Meteorological Agency\, María José Rallo\, and the director general of the Spanish Office for Climate Change\, Elena Pita\, will participate. \nTo attend in person\, it is necessary to register through the following form: \n \nThe event can be followed in streaming at the following link:

SUMMARY:"Our land\, our future. COP16 Outcomes"
DESCRIPTION:The aim of this meeting is to address the impact of drought and desertification on different regions and sectors\, proposing possible solutions\, as well as discussing the main conclusions of COP16\, held in Riyadh in 2024. It is organised in collaboration with the Sub-Directorate General for Forest Policy and Combating Desertification of MITECO and Casa África.  \nThe event will have a scientific-technical character\, where representatives from Africa and Spain will share their knowledge on desertification\, from the perspective of cooperation between both territories. In addition\, projects related to desertification financed by the Biodiversity Foundation through the Recovery\, Transformation and Resilience Plan will be presented.
